I have been very busy of late and not much of it has to do with boat building. We had the visit of one of our contributing boat builders, Tim, during his recent European road trip. I have drawn a house and am busy getting quotes. All this and putting some order in my life is taking much time. But I haven't given up hope of having a workshop large enough to host a 26' boat building project before the end of next year!

CLC's John Harris has drawn a very salty looking pocket cruiser called PocketShip. Available initially as plans within the next month or two. Here is a quick preview of the building of the first hull based on a forum post by John with a few extra photos. We can't wait to see her on the water.
The Ekolo'kat 34, a fast cruising cat from Nicolas Gruet shown here in its South Pacific version. For colder climates the galley is protected by a hard top. Two boats are already under construction.

Romilly has a complicated history being built by no less than three companies since 1995. Amateur builders begged plans from Nigel Irens who had Ed Burnett draft plans for a strip planked wood version. Surely the prettiest day sailor you can build and not the slowest on the water!
A new version of Roberto Barros' Multichine 26C comes from his office in Perth, Australia. The interior layout has been modified to make the head more functional and other minor details have been tweaked.

The most recent kayak plans from CLC. The theme is "small is beautiful" and you must agree, small boats do get used more often - they are so easy to transport and store when not in use. As usual these boats are available as kits from CLC plus their dealers in the UK and in France.
