In the "CURRENTS" section there is a short piece by Douglas Brooks. And then another by Koji Matano.

Douglas tells me he plans to return to Japan this autumn and work with a river boat builder or two.

Koji has put up a site for his new wooden boat building centre - I will post a link when he gets his translation to English done.
