Tips on using a digital scale for measuring epoxy components

Postby PinoyNovice » Mon Jan 08, 2007 10:03 pm

I recently bought a small jewelry scale so I can accurately mix small amount of epoxy. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on using these.

The only thing I know is that volume and weights are not the same. A 2:1 volume ratio is NOT a 2:1 weight ratio, So ... you gotta get the right numbers.

No that was Lon. There are several people using the forum :D

Good epoxy will have the weight to volume ratio in the documentation that comes in the box.

Yeah, I only realized after the fact. Why don't you have an edit button?

Yup it is fixed but now there are edit buttons for all the posts even for those not mine. Is that right? I did not try for fear it would set off all sorts of alarms on your end. :)
