Just in time for Christmas, Woodenwidget are pleased to announce the all new Fliptail 9 folding dinghy. Benjy says: "The biggest dinghy we have yet made and it may be the best. It sails beautifully and even planes. It is stable and practical and can be folded up and transported with ease."
Lots of new content over on www.douglasbrooksboatbuilding.com including a couple of restoration projects with interesting information for amateur boat restorers. While on the subject of restoration, my winter project is a friends Mallard Start 7. Very sound it needs rigging and the single cylinder BMW diesel is seized after 13 years of non use!
Emre writes: "2 friends of mine and I are building a Hartley 24 sailboat in Istanbul / Turkey. I think we will sail it in summer of 2014.
The photos are on http://emre9.wix.com/hartley24. The website is in Turkish and Turkish can not be translated by Google translator. However the photos tell a lot. I have plans to make an English copy of the site in the future."
