What's new?
10th December, 2012
Google has created Google+ communities. This works much better than "Pages" with regard to communication between members of a boat building community. I have decided to close the forum here and use the "Boat builders" community for all site communication. The actual forum will stay up of course. All you need to participate in the new boat builders community is a free Google account and an invitation, which you ask me for.
Another part of this site that was giving me a hedache is the gallery. I have fixed it. For articles I am using Google+ photo albums. I reccomend that you, readers, use the album of your choice when posting photos to discussions in the boat builders community.
Please share your thoughts on these important changes.
An update with launching photos in the article from Douglas Brooks - Building Sea Midge a Jackson tender plan from way back. There is a new photo album feature included with this article. Check it out.
While on the subject of dinghies and tenders: Benjy of Woooden Widget has translated all of his site into French. During his stop over here I got to see with my own eyes the prototype transparent Stacha. Insane!

Trying to register on the Gallery? The gallery and the forum require separate registration. I don't like this either, but it is much easier than cleaning up the mess left by spammers. If you want to post photos register and then send me an e-mail with your user login (not your password) so that I can activate your account.
